Cast iron construction, 3/4 hp, 4 pole 1440 rpm motor direct coupled to the disc, unlike most sanders that run at twice this speed this machine makes it almost impossible to burn the wood being sanded and greatly prolongs the life of the paper. Fitted with magnetic no-volt release switch. 1-1/2" dust collection port. The fitted mechanical disc brake is also a useful feature. A quality machine for any workshop.
