Description
A heavy duty 14" bandsaw with all the features.
This bandsaw has been designed and built with great features, as seen on larger machines. The table is a good size and nicely cast providing the fence a good mounting. The mitre slot is the standard 3/4" wide x 3/8" deep to allow aftermarket mitre gauges to be used, or sleds to be made using mitre slot bars. The large 100mm dust port means this bandsaw can be used with a workshop dust extractor without needing to reduce the hose size and air flow.
The slot in the table for blade change is to the right of the blade, rather through the front, so the fence does not need to be removed for blade change, as is on some cheaper models. This is a real time save when the time comes to change your blade.
The profiled rail positively engages with the fence bracket, giving a secure positive fit. There is adjustment in the fence to get it parallel to the mitre slot creating accuracy and repeatability. Hinged wheel covers and micro-adjustable blade guides round out the features on this machine that is an excellent choice for a workshop that requires a high quality build, accuracy and adjustability in a small footprint.
