Ideal for finish sanding or it can be used as a finish planer for curly-grained timber. Sands 400mm wide with one pass and 800mm with two passes.

This is a medium capacity drum sander The extruded aluminium sanding drum is precision machined and balanced for minimum vibration. Used with care the machine can achieve a thickness tolerance of 0.25mm across the full width of the sanding drum.

The abrasive is easily changed and is simply wound around the drum and secured each end by spring loaded clips. The height adjustment  rotates in 0.1mm increments, thus easily delivering control of the amount to sanded off. Extension tables for both the infeed and outfeed are supplied as standard making working with longer lengths of stock easier.
